Dr. Janaki Baral is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She holds a M.Phil degree in Educational Leadership from Kathmandu University and a PhD. in Natural Product Chemistry from Tribhuvan University, with research specialization in the isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds and essential oil extraction from medicinal plants. Her research interests include phytochemical analysis, natural antioxidants, antimicrobial studies, nanoscience, waste water treatment and the exploration of medicinal plants for bioactive constituents.
